At Wadsworth Security, we are proud to be celebrating our 35-year anniversary. We have been trading since 1981, and in our current premises for almost 30 years.

To mark this momentous occasion, we had a day out at the nearby Epsom Downs Racecourse. This was an opportunity for staff and customers to come together to enjoy a day out and meet face-to-face. We would like to thank everyone for their support and business over the last thirty-five years.

Following the retirement of Peter Bronson, Kevin White has joined the Wadsworth Security team as a Sales & Technical representative. After completion of initial training, he will be out introducing himself to customers, offering any information required.

Sharon Cumming has now been working at Wadsworth Security for 25 years. Sharon works within our masterkey department, responsible for the pinning of cores and cutting keys to code. “Working for Wadsworth Security has been an enjoyable 25 years, and I look forward to 25 more!”

All the team will be celebrating this achievement, and would like to congratulate Sharon on this milestone

From Monday 15th June, Wadsworth Security have appointed a new sales director. Joe Christopher has worked for the company for 5 years in various internal and external roles. He is now responsible for overseeing the majority of the UK. Either Joe or one of his team are always available to assist with any enquiries you may have.

Wadsworth Security will again be exhibiting at East Midlands Conference Centre on 7th & 8th March.

Recently we have made some changes to our products for the benefit of our customers.

Our oval profile and euro profile cylinders now utilise a new and improved large diamond thumbturn, which has replaced the more traditional style round knob. We believe this will be more useful for customers with limited hand movement.

Wadsworth Security is pleased to announce that our full product catalogue is now available on our website. This lists everything from the cores and keys, through to the cylinders and lockcases available.

The customer had an old masterkey system in place, which over the years had worn and lost key control. We implemented a Best system to allow them to regain key control, as well as keep much better management of their system. Once their system was installed across the main site, it was then expanded to include satellite buildings.

After investing in the system, they now have the capacity to cut keys and pin their own locks on site, this allows responsive repairs without the need of costly spares

South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM – Mental Health)

SLaM have been customers of Wadsworth Security Products since 1988. The various Hospital Sites had a variety of locking systems in place from large “Gibbons” Male / Female to various pin tumbler master key systems.

The initial Best masterkey system went into a new build at the end of 1988 using Yale 6000 Mortice Locks and Best Mortice Cylinders. Best have now been supplied and on occasions installed at several landmark Hospital sites as well as throughout many community sites.

The entire range of all Best products have been used and the Trust have the facility to Combinate Cores and Cut Keys as required. Predominantly Scandinavian Oval Products along with a complete range of Anti-Ligature Furniture to comply with current Health and Safety Regulations.
