About Wadsworth Security
Wadsworth Security Products is a family owned firm, established in 1981, selling the Wadsworth removable core master key system throughout the UK and also Europe. The removable core is central to all that we offer. We are based in Surrey with easy access to the motorway network and are available to survey any particular project or offer advice on your removable core master keying needs.
How does the Removable Core System Work?
The removable core is a unique design in the locking industry, which allows a quick and responsive way to change the code of the lock, without the need for any tools. It is a simple to use system, where any authorised person is able to change the code on site within 10 seconds, with just a ‘control’ key needed. The ‘control’ key is inserted into the lock to be changed, once turned 5 degrees, the removable core can be taken out of the cylinder housing. Then by inserting the ‘control’ key into the new core and locking it off in the cylinder, the combination of the lock has been changed.

Insert new core using the Control Key as before.
